Accessibility statement
Eventplanner aims to make its public pages – event overviews, event pages, registration and payment, and the pages to manage a registration – accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the harmonized standard EN 301 549 (WCAG 2.1 level AA).
How the service works
Attendees can browse events, choose a date and register with a form; paid events can be paid by bank transfer, InstaPay, on site or online via Stripe or PayPal. Confirmation, calendar file and ticket QR code are sent by email; the registration can be viewed and cancelled via a link.
Status of compliance
The public pages are partially compliant. We have implemented, among other things:
- semantic HTML with labelled form fields, grouped options and error messages next to the field;
- full keyboard operation and visible focus;
- responsive layout that works with zoom up to 200 % and on small screens;
- text alternatives for meaningful images and sufficient colour contrast for text.
Known limitations:
- Images, videos and descriptions are uploaded by organizers; alternative texts and captions for this content cannot always be guaranteed.
- The online payment pages of Stripe and PayPal are provided by those companies and are outside our control.
- The admin area for organizers is not part of the consumer service and has not yet been fully tested.
